Working for the Daily Progress has it’s perks sometimes. Riding in the motorcade with the President and press core is one of them. It took us about 12 minutes to get from the airport to the Pavilion with an average speed of about 45 MPH. People lined the streets in support and some in protest-mainly from the people stuck in their vehicles waiting for the motorcade to pass. It’s like following around a rock star who has a bevy of secret service agents deciding you’re every move at a moments notice. A fun time for any journalist. Check out all the Photos
